About Sekhmet
Sekhmet is a powerful Being of Light who is dedicated to our healing and upliftment. She was known to the Egyptians as “the Lion-hearted Goddess” of healing power, who was strong in battle, and tender of heart. She is known for her power to break down the old and to bring in the new.
'Lady of the Place of the Beginning of Time' 'Awakener' 'Lady of Enchantments' 'Great one of Healing' 'Giver of Ecstasies' 'Mistress of the Crowns' 'Opener of Ways' 'Lady of Transformations'..... These are some of the four thousand names of Sekhmet.
In February 2005, a meeting of pure Grace occurred when I was connected to this amazing Being of Light with her extraordinary abilities and pivotal role in Karmic Service to the Realms of Lesser Light. In a Goddess workshop, the Codes of connection to Sekhmet were given to me and an old connection to her and to her Service was reactivated. An extraordinary privilege from Sekhmet herself was granted to hold Codes to her and to her Karmic Service.
Sekhmet is a magnificent High Level dimensional Being of Light. She was known to the Ancient Egyptians who worshipped her as a Goddess of healing, who heals our pain; magic and who is strong in battle. They linked her to power and might (Sekhem), viewing her as a Warrior energy which indeed she is, often teaming with Archangel Michael. They recognised her service in clearing of the lower energies and would call on her in their rituals of exorcism. The hot desert winds were believed to be the fury of her breath. She is a Warrior manifestation of the sun. What is less known, is the tender heart of this Great Mother, her unconditional love, and assistance with our karma. She is associated with the colour Orange e.g. the orange Sacral chakra and the orange crystal Carnelian.
In Egyptian mythology, Sekhmet is a Solar Goddess: Consort of Ra - the God of Creation, sister-wife of Ptah - God of the Arts, and mother of Nefer-Tem- God of Physicians. She is often portrayed as a Lioness. The Lioness is the fiercest hunter known to the Ancient Egyptians. The Lion goes into battle with the Pharaohs. She is crowned with a solar disc which represents the sun Ra, and the Uraeus, the Cobra, in front of this. The Uraeus symbolises the absolute power of the Gods and the Rulers of Egypt. It strikes their enemies coming towards them. The Cobra also symbolizes the Serpent Goddesses. Sekhmet often holds an Ankh in her hand, the symbol of life and immortality. Whoever holds this has the power of life and death over another.
Sekhmet’s temple in Egypt is at Karnak, on the bank of the Nile, close to Luxor in Egypt. This is a very powerful Portal for Sekmet’s energies, then and now.

Sekhmet is an important Being who breaks down the old energies for transformation and new light. Other Beings of Light often work with her in session such as Christ, Archangel Michael, the Elohim, Lord Maitreya, Horus, Ma’at, Isis and Osiris. In her higher form, Sekhmet is a Light Being who has given service to our planet for a long time. In the Higher Realms she holds a form of expanded light, beauty and powerful gold. She ‘feels’ very Yin, feminine, flowing with grace, light and colour. In her service to the Lower Realms, she contracts her energy, ‘feels’ very Yang, focused and masculine. Sekhmet is very powerful and works at an unusual depth. Inner change may happen that has not been achieved before.
I knew intuitively that we would work together but nothing apparent happened until five months later. I had decided to undertake a private personal retreat. In that week Sekhmet gave me further Codes and alignments into service with her. I understood that I was being initiated into an ancient priestly order who give service to the Realms of Lesser Light and to the evolution of those in this karmic consciousness. In accepting these Initiations, in the passing through these doorways into a deeper service, there would be no returning to my formerly limited consciousness of these areas. Later I understood that this was an offer that would only be made once in this lifetime. Although challenging, it felt very familiar, right and a continuation of a long service to her. The great blessing in this gift has been that as I have embraced the perception of duality, learn regularly about the structures of Karma, the puzzles about life have fallen into more relaxed acceptance and understanding.
